The NEWEST Shaun T Workout
25 Minutes is All It Takes!
Did I ever tell you guys I got the chance to try out the NEW workout from Shaun T?? I DID!!
It was SO FUN! It is going to be amazing, I can already tell. And yes, I’m for sure buying it when it comes out
It was much more dance-y than Insanity, much shorter than Insanity as well. But still, in true Shaun T fashion, it was HIGH ENERGY, NON STOP, MAKE YOU SWEAT BUCKETS! There is no warm-up, which can be a good or a bad thing. If you like to hurry and get right into the action, AWESOME. If you like to get your cold muscles ready, be ready to jog in place before you push play.
Focus T25 is not only great for ME, but busy moms and dads, young people, or anyone who wants to look good and get on with the rest of their life. The program is designed to “focus your intensity for 25 minutes… 5 days a week” with the results of an hour program in under 30 minutes, and without the limitations of shorter programs like 10-Minute Trainer. Shorter workouts also mean it would be more likely that you would do the workout regularly!! Am I right?? And we already know how much I love home workouts. Workout programs at home save people more time instead of traveling to the gym, save money on gym membership fees or personal trainers, and increased privacy by being at home.
In the second round of moves, the entire room gasped when Shaun T and crew dropped into “One Arm Burpees”. Well you know me. I had to try!!! Even with my gimpy leg I was able to do a few one arm burpees!! And my abs were on FIRE!
The workout pushed all the way to the end with NO REST. There were some active rest moves but nothing where we actually stopped. High intensity, fun, and non-stop.
I was happy to hit the 25 minute mark and stop though, as I was drenched in sweat and felt totally exhausted from this workout. Obviously, look at my pink cheeks!!! Then there was an additional 2.5 minute cool down stretch that was optional after the workout. I thought this was really smart, as I want and am willing to spend and extra couple of minutes stretching after the workout! With Focus T25 you have the option.
So it looks like there’s going to be 3 phases:
Alpha Phase: General endurance, cardio, and strength building focus
Beta Phase: Core focus
Gamma Phase: Resistance and muscle building focus
I am most interested in the BETA PHASE! You guys know I love to work the core and get those abs of steel! Can’t wait to see what Shaun T has in store for us!
UPDATE: FOCUS T25 IS HERE!!! Have you gotten yours yet?? I’ll be starting mine when I finish with this round of P90X/Turbo Fire! I’m so excited!
